Mission
To serve the community of Corpus Christi Parish by providing an environment conducive for the faithful of the community to worship God, receive the sacraments, and ultimately to serve God. In serving the community of Corpus Christi Parish, the Council will advise the Pastor in any practical issue pertaining to the Parish, by investigating and considering pastoral matters, and formulating conclusions as recommendations for the Pastor, while adhering to the doctrinal and moral teachings of the Catholic Church.
If you have any questions, concerns and/or ideas that you would like to present to the Pastoral Council, please don’t hesitate to talk to one of us or email us at pastoralcouncil@corpuschristiphx.org. We look forward to hearing from you!

I have been attending the daily Mass and praying the Holy Rosary at Corpus Christi Church since 2016. I am part of the Divine Mercy Prayer Group, Men of St. Joseph ministry, and I am a regular Adorer. I have dedicated my life to prayer after semi-retiring from a 30 years career in the high-tech industry. I am very grateful to serve our Lord Jesus Christ and the parishioners of Corpus Christi Church.

After moving from Colorado to Arizona my wife Karen and I became parishioners at Corpus Christi in July 2020. I’ve been involved as a Catechist and Catechist Trainer, teen RCIA coordinator, lector, member of Men of St Joseph, and an Adorer. My passion is providing adult faith education and fellowship opportunities during our Adult Catholic Education Studies (ACES) on Thursday nights and Catholic Adult Faith Essentials (CAFÉ) on two Saturday mornings each month. Karen and I have three adult sons and have been married over 50 years. My son Dan and his wife Rachel, Corpus Christi parishioners, blessed us with three grandsons. I enjoy trail hiking, swimming, golfing and being with my grandsons.

I have been active in our Corpus Christi parish since 2019. Prior to that my wife Mary and I were members of St Mary's parish in Chandler and Holy Rosary in Edmonds, WA.
Prior to that I had been active in parish ministries starting in Seattle, WA. I have brought the Lord to the homebound and in hospitals, and part of St Paul Street Evangelization. I am currently: a Lector, a Porter, an Extraordinary minister, and a member of the Carmelite OCDS secular order.
My wife and I have been married for 53+ years with two married daughters and seven grandchildren. After 50+ years in construction and 25+ years in the Army Reserve I am mostly retired but my wife and I still have a small real estate business. This allows me to frequently attend daily Mass and adoration.

I have been a member of Corpus Christi parish for four years and must say, “I love my parish!” I currently lead the Arts and Environment ministry, am a Eucharist Minister, a sometime member of the choir, and a Vincentian. I have been married for thirty-eight years, am a mother of two, and a proud grandma of three. It is a privilege for me to serve our parish in this capacity!

I have been a parishioner at Corpus Christi since my husband and I moved from St. Louis, Missouri in 2002. We have four grown children who were raised in the parish and attended Catholic schools. Over the years, I have been involved in numerous ministries within the parish including: Finance Council, Saint Gerard Circle, Coffee Break, Eucharistic Minister and Adoration, Funeral Receptions Committee and St. Vincent de Paul. I enjoy spending time with our grandchildren, traveling, biking, hiking and playing pickle ball. I am honored and excited to serve on the Pastoral Council.

I have been a parishioner at Corpus Christi since my husband and I moved from Columbus, Ohio in 2019 with my job at JPMorgan Chase. We have two grown children who attended Catholic schools and moved nearby in Scottsdale 3 years ago. I am a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, member of the Women's Ministry Advisory Council, and supporter of Family Promise. My husband and I enjoy exploring the Southwest, hiking, and taking summer trips back to our hometowns of Pittsburgh and Detroit. I am proud to serve as Secretary of the Pastoral Council.
