Building a Culture of Life through Prayer, Education, and Fellowship

The Sanctity of Life Ministry at Corpus Christi unites itself completely to the Culture of Life through prayer, word, and deed, following the guidance of St. John Paul II in his encyclical letter, The Gospel of Life (Evangelium Vitae):

"What is urgently called for is a general mobilization of consciences and a united ethical effort to activate a great campaign in support of life. Together, we must build a culture of life… choosing to be unconditionally pro-life." (EV 95, 28)

Each year, we plan events that help support the Culture of Life. Please watch the parish bulletin for updates on when these begin.

Ongoing Efforts

• 40 Days for Life Campaigns (Spring & Fall) – Praying the Rosary outside Tempe Planned Parenthood for an end to abortion, offering alternatives, and standing for the Gospel of Life.
• Annual Support of Valley Pro-Life Pregnancy Centers – Including Aid to Women Center and Life Choices Women's Clinics through Baby Bottle Drives and fundraising events.
• Annual Support of Maggie’s Place – Collecting baby items to assist mothers who have chosen life.

• February 21 – Unplanned Movie at Corpus Christi
• March 10, 17, 24, 31 & April 7 – 40 Days for Life Prayer Vigil
• March 15 – Arizona March for Life
• March 22 – Aid to Women Center Mass at Holy Spirit
• March 26 – Abortion Dialogue Academy at Corpus Christi
