Junior High Youth Ministry (Grades 6-8)

This class meets on Sundays at 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm before the 5:00 pm Sunday Youth Mass. Community begins for the Junior High students as they gather together in the Parish Center.

Throughout the year, the young people encounter Jesus Christ in the Word of the Bible, in their own lives, and in our service work for Miles Jesu, Saint Vincent de Paul Family Dining Room, Hawthorne Court, and Radio Family Rosary.

Highlights of the Junior High Community's fun, faith-filled year include:  interviewing Father Hoorman on the Catholic faith, following the footsteps of Saint Paul's journey, being guests at a special Thanksgiving Feast, presenting the Parish with Bethlehem Dessert Theatre, participating in the Diocese Vocation Presentation, and following the footsteps of Jesus in Jerusalem during Lent.

As a community, fellowship flourishes for these young people as they embrace and grow in their Catholic faith.

This class does not prepare your child for any sacraments.  If your Jr. High student needs to receive any sacraments, please see the Children's Initiation section of the website.
